Web Presentation:
Friday, September 25, 2009
Time:
11:00am
Overview:
This
webinar examines how flow-based anomaly detection (leveraging
NetFlow, sFlow, and native flow) provides lightweight,
cost-effective security monitoring for distributed environments,
where sensor-based technologies are impractical. Delivering
end-to-end network visibility to improve enterprise
security postures, this approach utilises behavior,
traffic characteristics and statistical analysis to
detect attacks without the need for signature updates.
Combining flow data with network behaviour analysis
helps improve network security and performance by:
- Providing
real-time visibility into both network and host-based
traffic on your WAN
- Isolating
the root cause of problems on the network
- Closing
security gaps left open by policy- and signature-based
technologies
- Proactively
monitoring for threats impacting network and application
availability
- Promoting
network performance and availability
Learn
how to:
- Identify
what is actually happening on your network (when and
by whom)
- Detect
threats that bypass traditional security technologies
- Pinpoint
network performance problems
- Improve
security and performance of your network
