NetMRI
Event Analysis augments the capabilities of NetMRI by
automatically collecting, storing, and indexing real-time
event data, and then correlating network events with
built-in intelligence and analysis.

of sifting through millions of log file messages generated
every day for the real gems of information that could
foreshadow a problem, NetMRI Event Analysis automates
the process by constantly combing through syslog and
SNMP event streams, combining event data with configuration
and SNMP data collected and identifying trouble immediately—before
end users are impacted. NetMRI immediately takes action
by automatically creating diagnostic "Issues",
and sending a proactive notification.
